Lecture 7 – Homework Questions

Question 1:
If the ratio of boys to girls in a class is 5:7, and there are 60 students in total, how many boys are there?

Question 2:
The ratio of apples to oranges is 2:3. If there are 50 fruits in total, how many apples are there?

Question 3:
The ratio of workers to machines is 6:4. If there are 16 machines, how many workers are there?

Question 4:
A recipe requires 3 cups of flour for every 2 cups of sugar. If you use 6 cups of flour, how much sugar is needed?

Question 5:
A school has a ratio of 8 boys to 5 girls. If there are 130 students in total, how many girls are there?
